A Message From the Director

Dear Aspiring Business Professional

Thank you for reviewing our business degree offerings. As you know, the world of business has changed dramatically within the last two years and, as a result, we have changed our curriculum to reflect these changing times. Our experienced faculty has updated all of our curricular to ensure that our students graduate with required knowledge of business as well as the skills to compete in the changing world.

We have added new courses within the program and strengthened our commitment to our educational mission, Purpose Centered-education, where students work methodically every semester to further increase their understanding of the world of business, while developing their own businesses or products. Additionally, we have added more technology-related material to the curricula to ensure that, when you graduate from the program, you have all of the necessary skills to be an effective business professional. As you review our BBA in Business Administration, MBA in Media Management, MBA in Financial Services, MBA in General Management and our most recent BBA in Healthcare System Management, keep in mind that these programs are tailored to your educational needs.

We realize that your time is valuable and that you need options in scheduling to complete your degree. We now have fully on-line courses that will allow you flexibility in scheduling. We have also created a mechanism to recognize and award college credits for your life experiences through the Life Experience Credit program.

Additionally, we have established a chapter of an international honor society for business students, Sigma Beta Delta. The society provides an opportunity for the faculty to confer to business students at MCNY recognition for their outstanding academic achievements and community development.

As you can see, we have leveraged new technologies, growth opportunities and an ever- changing business environment to develop a curricula that is geared to providing practical, nuts-and-bolts courses specifically focused on the needs of business students. I hope that you will take time to review these new developments of our business program and visit us to learn how you can earn a degree that is both relevant and valuable.
