The A. E. Charitable Foundation Scholarship for Urban Teaching
This scholarship is awarded each semester to two students who are fully accepted into the Master of Science Degree in Childhood Education program. Eligibility includes at least a 3.2 GPA average from a completed undergraduate or graduate degree. Applying students are required to submit an application along with a copy of their official college transcript and an essay on the topic - Why I Want to Become an Urban Teacher. Each recipient will be awarded a total of $2,500, one third of which will be awarded upon completion of each of the three semesters.
