New York State Teacher Certification Exam (LAST)

The LAST is a 4-hour test that consists of an 80 multiple-choice question exam and a written assignment exam. Exam information and applications are available at www.nystce.nesinc.com .

CertEd offers an online course in preparation for the LAST exam. Metropolitan College of New York undergraduate and graduate students only can take advantage of a $10 discount when you register through the Bursar's Office for any online test prep course found at www.CertEd.com.

Online Teacher Test Prep Courses

CertEd offers three different online courses: one for the LAST, ATS-W, and Multi-Subject Test. The courses are designed to provide you with strategies, and test practice in preparation for taking the teacher certification exams. The courses utilize audio graphic lectures and time-controlled practice tests. The online practice tests simulate the actual NYSTCE exams.

  • DISCOUNT FOR MCNY STUDENTS
    Receive a $10 discount when you register through Metropolitan College of New York for any of the online test preparation courses offered by CertEd. DO NOT fill out the Pre-Sign up Questionnaire until you have registered.

You must register and pay for the course in one of the following ways:

  1. FAX: Print a Course Registration Form and fill out your contact information including a credit card number and fax the form to (212) 343-7397.
  2. MAIL: Print a Course Registration Form and fill out your contact information including a credit card number or a check in the amount of $89 made payable to Metropolitan College of New York. Mail to: Metropolitan College of New York , 431 Canal Street , New York , NY 10013-1919, Attention: Bursar's Office. Be sure to include your e-mail address on the registration form so that a password may be e-mailed to you allowing you to access the course.
