Assistant Director of Financial Aid
MCNY seeks an experienced skilled professional to assist students in tuition planning and financial aid. Working at the Collegeís Bronx extension center, the Assistant Director will work with the Manhattan campus in providing financial aid counseling to students and parents; determining eligibility for and awarding financial aid to students in accordance with federal, state, and institutional policies and regulations; attending/hosting workshops and open house events; overseeing college work study staff; providing occasional front desk coverage and initial student intake; providing general advisement for perspective and continuing students; working closely with the Director and other Bronx staff on projects to enhance the one stop shop environment.

Requirements: Bachelorís degree (Masters preferred) with 2 years of financial aid experience. Experience with PowerFaids and PowerCampus preferred. Strong organizational and analytical skills are required along with ability to multi-task and effectively interact with a diverse student population. Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, written and oral communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills necessary. The candidate must be detail and customer service oriented, and possess the ability to manage a great level of responsibility. Must be able to work autonomously and in team environments. Assistant Professor, Healthcare Systems Management
Metropolitan College of New York, a non-profit, regionally accredited college offering associate, bachelor's and master's degrees, and located in the Soho/Tribeca section of Manhattan and in the Bronx, seeks an Assistant Professor in the School for Business, Healthcare Systems Management Program. The successful candidate will provide academic leadership at the Collegeís Bronx extension center and teach general courses including healthcare management, health services management, medical insurance, regulatory aspects of healthcare, and others.

Coordinator of Student Support and Development
Metropolitan College of New York, a non-profit, regionally accredited college offering associate, bachelor's and master's degrees, and located in the Soho/Tribeca section of Manhattan and in the Bronx, seeks an experienced student advisor who will serve as the Coordinator of Student Support and Development for the Office of Student Affairs. The Coordinator will work closely with the Dean of Students to create, implement and promote a wide variety of activities and programs to broaden student development and promote student success and satisfaction.

Primary responsibilities include advisement and retention for second and third term undergraduate students; coordinating and managing services for students with special needs in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act; serving as a member of the Retention Committee and other committees; drafting reports and proposals; working with webmaster to maintain Student Affairs webpage; overseeing the development and maintenance of Student Servicesí external resources and referral materials; working closely with ďAbility to BenefitĒ students to ensure they meet all requirements to obtain GED.

Requirements: Masterís degree plus two years of relevant higher education experience, or Bachelorís degree plus 5 years of relevant higher education experience. Must be proficient in MS Office and Internet; experience with student information system desired. The ideal candidate must have excellent written, analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills, in addition to superior customer service abilities, and demonstrated ability to multitask and work autonomously.
