Assistant Professor in Childhood Education Requirements: Qualifications: Earned doctorate in elementary education or a closely related field. Consideration will be given to ABD candidates in the dissertation/defense stage. Minimum of three years classroom teaching experience as a NYS certified elementary school teacher. Preferred qualifications include college and public school teaching experience in urban settings with diverse populations of children; skill in the use of technology to support teaching and learning, and an established scholarly record.
