Associate Controller
MCNY seeks an experienced Associate Controller to assist the VP for Finance and Administration/Controller in the management of the day to day operations of the Collegeís fiscal department. General responsibilities will include overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department; assisting the AVP for Compliance with monitoring student receivables; ensuring timely and accurate closings and reconciliations; monitoring and reporting cash flow; preparing fiscal reports; conducting and managing internal and external audits; assisting with annual operating and capital budgets; managing grant/external funds; assisting with the maintenance of the Collegeís financial information system; overseeing the payroll process; supervising the accounts payable manager and senior accountant.

Requirements: Qualifications include Bachelorís degree (Masters preferred) with 5 years of demonstrated experience in leading and managing college accounting and finance functions. Must have in-depth knowledge of financial accounting and reporting, college budget preparation and management, and GAAP. The preferred candidate will demonstrate experience and expertise in financial statement development, analysis, audit management, and student accounts management (federal, state and institutional funds). Must also have strong computing skills, proficient with Great Plains or similar software, and knowledge of financial management system upgrades. Associate Professor/Chair of Human Services
MCNY seeks a Chairperson to provide innovative academic and administrative leadership for the Human Services Program. Reporting to the Dean of the Audrey Cohen School for Human Services and Education, the Chair of Human Services will oversee the supervision and administration of academic activities; will execute policies concerning teaching and scholarship, fiscal affairs and other administrative business. He/she will recruit, select, evaluate and mentor adjunct faculty and encourage faculty leadership to enhance faculty morale and professional development. As a faculty member, the Chair will provide long-term direction and vision for the program, solicit ideas to improve the concept of Purpose Centered Education, plan and evaluate curriculum development, plan course offerings, and conduct meetings. He/she will prepare budgets, maintain records, assign duties to faculty, and will have teaching responsibilities. The candidateís academic and professional credentials and experience may qualify for, and be commensurate with a senior level rank. Minimum qualifications include a PhD or other doctorate degree preferably in the Human Services discipline; eight years of experience in higher education, to include teaching, curriculum development and implementation, and faculty supervision; knowledge of learning theories for adult learners and principles of supplemental instruction; demonstrated knowledge of learning outcomes assessment practices in higher education; knowledge of distance learning educational models, adult learning styles, and technology assisted instruction; and ability to work successfully with in diverse cultural setting is required.

Director of Admissions
MCNY seeks a creative, detail oriented, high-energy professional with excellent customer service skills to lead its Admissions team. Reporting to the Executive Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Director of Admissions will develop, coordinate and oversee the implementation of all undergraduate and graduate recruitment and admissions activities at MCNY. Major responsibilities include working with the Executive Vice President for Enrollment Management and academic leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment/marketing strategy for undergraduate and graduate populations; designing and implementing policies in accordance with industry best practices; hiring, training, supervising and developing admissions staff; overseeing the development and coordination of on/off campus recruitment initiatives and daily campus visitation program; developing and implementing targeted marketing strategies in relation to enrollment goals; implementing strategies to integrate internal and external enrollment-related technologies; preparing and monitoring department budget; and participating in College-wide committees.

Requirements: Minimum requirements: Masterís degree with a minimum of 3-5 years leadership experience; able to articulate effective leadership abilities and quantify accomplishments; excellent communication skills both written and oral; budget management capabilities necessary; experience working with Microsoft Office Professional Suite and college based computer information systems; must be able and willing to work some evenings and weekends; driverís license required.
