- Once the Insert key is depress, your text to the right is deleted
- Deactivate the Insert key by depressing it again

- Highlight document and cancel

- 3 ½ inch

- WHAT CAN I DO WHEN A DIALOG BOX APPEARS AND I DON’T WANT IT?
- Go to the extreme upper left corner of the keyboard
- Depress the Esc (Escape) key
- WHAT CAN I DO WHEN MY DISKETTE READS NOT FORMATTED AND I HAVE FILES ON IT?
- Look for MSDos Command Prompt in your Programs
- Right click on Start, then Programs
- You will see a black Window
- With the diskette in drive A
- Type chkdsk a: /r (space between a: and /r)
- It takes a few moments to check the disk and repair any errors
- If it doesn’t work, call the Help Desk
- WHAT SHOULD I DO TO TYPE ALL CAPITAL LETTERS?
- Look at the left side of the keyboard
- Find the Caps Lock key
- Depress and type
- Depress again to deactivate
- WHAT SHOULD I DO WHEN I OPEN UP A FILE AND IT IS ENCRYPTED?
- Close the file immediately
- Check to see that your in the right application, such as PowerPoint not Word
- WHAT SHOULD I DO WHEN I RESTART, AND IT IT READS "NON-SYSTEM DISK OR DISK ERROR" "REPLACE AND STRIKE ANY KEY WHEN READY"?
- You simply have a diskette in the floppy drive.
- Take out the diskette and strike any key
