Joseph Antonik's story

I came to MCNY after working for several years as the Director of Respiratory Therapy at Montefiore Medical Center. While I love my work in the healthcare industry, I've always had a passion for skateboarding (yes, skateboarding) and dreamed of opening my own shop.

Trouble was, I had no business experience and I didn’t want to leave my successful career. When I found out about MCNY’s MBA in General Management, a focused and intensive program for highly motivated individuals, I knew it was the right one for me. I was able to attend class three nights a week and receive my MBA in just one year. I learned how to write and execute an effective business plan so that I could launch my own company.

Now I’m happily juggling two careers – one saving lives, the other making them a little more fun.
