Accessing your Student Account through IQ.Web is easy. To get up and running with its many benefits and features, simply login and open the comprehensive IQ.Web User Guide and Help Reference developed on your behalf.

First Time Login Instructions

Access IQ.Web with the following web address: http://iqweb.mcny.edu. This link will open the IQ.Web "Landing Page." From there, click on the "Login" link to sign in with your user name and password. Or you can reach the login page directly with this URL: http://iqweb.mcny.edu/iqweb/Secure/logon.asp.

Once you arrive at the login page, be sure to bookmark this page to your Favorites, so you can return anytime without having to remember or re-enter the web address.

The email which introduced you to IQ.Web included your user name and a temporary password, along with instructions for logging in for the first time. These instructions are repeated below for your reference. (You also might want to click on the "printer-friendly" icon in the upper right hand corner of this page to print out the log in instructions for handy reference.)

Click inside the "Login Id" field to place your cursor there and enter your user name.

Use the Tab Key to move the cursor to the Password field (or you can mouse click again in that field) and enter your temporary password. This temporary password is not secure, and your first order of business once you have logged in will be to change this password to a new password of your own choosing. Note: Passwords are always case sensitive — if you choose a password which contains capital letters, you must remember to capitalize those same letters when you log in or the log in will fail.

With your user name and password entered, click the "Sign in" button. The IQ.Web Home Page opens to the MCNY Academic Calendar. Look for the link to the IQ.Web User Guide in the upper left corner, under the heading "Overview."

Should you forget your password, you can click on the "What if I forget my password?" link to the right of the log in fields on the log in page. This will give you the choice of viewing the password hint you assigned when you created your new password, or allowing IQ.Web to generate a new temporary password for you, which you can change once again after you have successfully logged in using it.
