Please join the Bronx Borough President’s Office, HERE to HERE, and the Consortium for Worker Education (CWE) on February 2nd for an interactive conversation about ways in which unions and local academic institutions can better prepare our students for multiple career pathways. In the Fall of 2017, the Borough President’s Office and HERE to HERE launched the first in a series of career pathways convenings.  The Tech Sector Summit brought together Bronx tech companies and educators to explore the current opportunities in this growing sector for Bronx youth. We hope to continue these collaborative discussions with our second career pathways:

“Collaboration for the Future: How Unions and Academic Institutions Can Prepare Our Future Workforce”

We are convening key stakeholders the morning of February 2nd, at Metropolitan College of New York from 8:30AM to 12:00PM. With your input, feedback, and collaboration we will identify how best to prepare our young adults for family-sustaining careers and choice filled lives.  Over the next few weeks, check back for additional information including a detailed agenda.
