Metropolitan College of New York (MCNY) is a unique and vibrant learning institution. MCNY seeks a well-organized, high-energy professional with excellent customer service skills to recruit and enroll prospective students in its undergraduate and graduate programs. The Admissions Counselor will conduct outreach, counsel prospective students on programs, financial resources and matriculation requirements; develop relationships with public and private entities including schools, businesses, organizations and community leaders; and plan, schedule and attend on and off campus recruitment activities. The Counselor will be able to enroll students in any of the College’s programs and will act as a liaison with Deans and Faculty for at least one of its programs.
Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) with 2 years admissions or sales experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office Professional Suite; social media community management; student information systems (SIS) and customer/student relationship management (CRM) software experience are a plus. Solid communication and presentation skills required. Weekend and evening work hours required.
