The College seeks a creative, detail oriented, high-energy professional with excellent customer service skills to lead its Admissions team. Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, the Director of Admissions will develop, coordinate and oversee the implementation of all undergraduate and graduate recruitment and admissions activities at MCNY.
Major responsibilities include working with the Vice President and academic leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment/marketing strategy for undergraduate and graduate populations; designing and implementing policies in accordance with industry best practices; hiring, training, supervising and developing admissions staff; overseeing the development and coordination of on/off campus recruitment initiatives and daily campus visitation program; developing and implementing targeted marketing strategies in relation to enrollment goals; implementing strategies to integrate internal and external enrollment-related technologies (CRM/SIS); preparing and monitoring department budget; and participating in College-wide committees.
Minimum requirements: Master’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years leadership experience in a higher education setting; able to articulate effective leadership abilities and quantify accomplishments; excellent communication skills both written and oral; budget management capabilities necessary; experience working with Microsoft Office Professional Suite and college based computer information systems; experience with Slate CRM and PowerCampus preferred; must be able and willing to work some evenings and weekends; driver’s license required.
