MCNY seeks a part-time, evening Technical Support Analyst to train and support students, faculty and staff in the successful use of hardware, software, peripherals, audio-visual equipment, network and communication devices. The Analyst will conduct in-person support in unstructured atmospheres for students, faculty and staff; assist students in the proper use of the Microsoft Office suite of products; become proficient in all areas supported by Technology and provide exceptional hands on support as needed; support connections by students, staff, faculty and guests on the wireless network; provide technical support for Desktop PC’s, printers, audio-visual equipment, copiers, and other peripherals; conduct bi-weekly preventative maintenance checks on classrooms and conference rooms; convey a professional and consistent customer service image; and work on special projects as assigned. Qualifications include: Demonstrated customer service skills; fluency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Prior computer support experience preferred.
