Dr. Tilokie Depoo, Chief Academic Officer

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to explore the Metropolitan College of New York’s academic offerings to garner a sense of what we offer in the greatest city in the world. Our college has proudly served our students and community since 1964. As a small private non-profit college, we are able to offer tailored programs where a course is never closed because of too many students. A seat will always be available to you.

Our undergraduate and graduate programs are accelerated so that students are able to complete their degree while working and/or raising a family. The college continues to evolve, offering degrees in Human Services, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Emergency Management and Public Affairs & Administration. New degree offerings are planned for next year in new growth areas.

Our college fosters diversity, personal and social responsibility, and academic mentoring. Although the pace may be fast, there is always someone to give you guidance and encouragement. We are preparing students to venture into an ever-changing fast paced world, where they will become change agents and leaders.

As the Chief Academic Officer of MCNY, I am responsible for the academic direction of the college, curriculum development, enhancing the college’s intellectual environment, strengthening instruction and scholarship and other “highbrow” ideals. My favorite activity as CAO is meeting, mentoring and teaching students.

Join us at MCNY and make your mark in the city – and the world! I look forward to meeting you.

Sincerely,
Dr. Tilokie Depoo
Chief Academic Officer
