Important Notice Regarding New York State TAP
The New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) has informed colleges across New York that Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) disbursements may be delayed this term due to state processing timelines.
If you have been awarded TAP and have completed all required financial aid documentation, there is no additional action you need to take at this time. Your award will be applied to your student account once funds are received from HESC.
Metropolitan College of New York’s Financial Aid Office is monitoring the situation closely and will continue to work with HESC to ensure eligible awards are processed as quickly as possible. Students with questions about their accounts are encouraged to contact the Financial Aid Office.
