MCNY is Recognized as a PBI and an MSI
Metropolitan College of New York (MCNY) is a predominantly Black and Hispanic institution, recognized as both a Predominantly Black Institution (PBI) and a Minority-Serving Institution (MSI). As a PBI, MCNY fulfills the criteria established by the federal government to support higher education institutions that serve a significant percentage of Black students, particularly from low-income backgrounds.
