The Learning Enhancement Center (LEC) helps students reach their potential in math and writing—skills critical for academic success at MCNY and afterward.
LEC math and writing specialists are expert practitioners and educators. With master’s degrees in their fields and decades of collective professional experience, they are able to engage students, learn about their needs, and help them discover their own learning path.
The LEC specialists also create and maintain a growing pool of academic resources, such as:
- Narrated video presentations that explain key concepts and teach vital skills in math and writing
- Guidebooks for accessing and optimizing free premium Grammarly accounts, learning and applying APA Style, understanding finance and accounting, and more
