To search for print books, type a title, an author’s name, or other keywords into the library search box. To search for eBooks, log in to read them online ; or check them out on your phone or tablet.

Find Journals

Electronic Journal List Search or browse an A-Z list of the Library’s electronic journals.

Get Background Information

Electronic Reference Sources Search reference works such as Credo Reference online.

Find Data

Demographic Data Statistics Sources Use statistical data from federal, state, and city sources to draw an accurate picture of the communities you serve. Industry and Company Data Get facts and figures on dozens of American industries with reports from IBISWorld; or research specific companies with profiles from Hoover’s.

The Learning Commons now has a group study room available. Book Room 744 for project sessions, interviews, and more.

Research Consultations & Library Tutorials

Ask us for help on a specific research question or project, or to learn a set of basic library skills.

Instruction Sessions & Course Guides

Faculty can request a research instruction session for their class, or ask the librarians to design an online course or assignment guide.

Inter-Library Loan

Email to get help obtaining specific books or articles not currently owned by the MCNY Library.
