New York, NY – It was announced today that Preserve Our Legacy, MCNY Alumni, members from and many more will partner with The Legacy Center to assist Hurricane Sandy Victims on Saturday, November 10, 2012.

On October 29, 2012, Hurricane Sandy launched devastation on more than eleven states, however, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut were affected the most. According to, more than 5.5 million people lost power, due to Hurricane Sandy. Gas rationing has complicated fuel delivery causing gas shortages throughout the area. Thousands became homeless and more than 45 people lost their lives. Because of this, these groups of individuals will assist those in needs.

The Legacy Center is relentless about moving people forward to achieve their ultimate potential.  The Legacy Center fights to see someone change for life and not just for the moment: To live Life on Purpose; To take every step with intention; To help people create a Legacy that their kids will want to copy. TLC’s purpose is to change the communities of Bushwick, Ridgewood, Glendale and East New York for the good, person by person, family by family, and school by school.
