MCNY will be hosting community forums with the four final candidates at both campuses in Manhattan and the Bronx, January 16-26, 2018. These forums are an opportunity for the candidates to get to know us, and for us to get to know them. Come meet the candidates and then share your feedback with the Presidential Search Committee. Guess Who Was Named Deputy Bronx Borough President?
Marricka Scott-McFadden! Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. appointed Marricka Scott-McFadden (2013, MPA Alumna) to serve as the new Deputy Bronx Borough President, starting this month.
“Marricka Scott-McFadden has decades of experience in both the public and private sector, and I am thrilled to welcome her voice to my administration,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr., “My staff and I look forward to working with Ms. Scott-McFadden as we continue to advance a positive transformative agenda for The Bronx.”

MCNY Bids A Fond Farewell To One Of Our Founding Faculty Members
Dr. Doris Anne Younger (Dodie) was as an educational pioneer who worked with Audrey Cohen to establish the Women’s Talent Corp which gave MCNY the strong foundation that we have today. She passed on Christmas Day. Dr. Younger was a wonderful friend and constant supporter of the college.
