The POWER of EDUCATION!
Congratulations to John Edwards, Executive Director of Metropolitan College of New York’s (MCNY) Bronx Campus and College-Wide Career Development and School for Public Affairs and Administration MPA alumnus! We are excited to announce that Mr. Edwards has been selected by City and State as one of the 2019 Bronx Power 100.
“The work I do day-to-day to help transform lives is my true reward. Being selected for City & State’s Bronx Power 100 Award is the icing on the cake. I am truly honored and humbled,” said John Edwards.
City & State’s must-read list of the most powerful people in New York City has been a long-standing institution. This September, for the first time ever, the Power 100 List goes to the Bronx! The September 16th issue will debut at a special reception at Wave Hill Public Gardens in the Bronx during a gathering of top brass from government, advocacy, academia, media, business and beyond.
“As a graduate student in MCNY’s School for Public Affairs and Administration, John Edwards met the highest expectations set by the members of the faculty and myself. I am not at all surprised that John should be named to this group of highly influential members of the Bronx community. His exemplary professionalism and expertise are reflected in the fact that he manages both the college’s Bronx campus and its office of career services. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition,” said Humphrey Crookendale, Interim Chief Academic Officer & Dean, School for Public Affairs and Administration.
We invite the MCNY Community to join us in congratulating John Edwards and his fellow honorees, the Bronx’s most extraordinary leaders, and wishing everyone continued success.
