Membership and Recruitment Committee

Enroll current students and alumni to become active members by creating/ hosting recruitment events and developing recruitment strategies for the Human Services/Education Alumni Network (HSEAN)

Event Planning Committee

Coordinate the planning, and organization of events/activities for the network. Collaborate with other committees and various MCNY departments. Create venue layout designs, setup, and breakdown.

Alumni and Student Mentoring Committee

Empower and provide academic support to current students by arranging academic workshops, groups, seminars and one on one sessions. Collaborate with MCNY Learning Enhancement Center in their efforts to assist students during their academic journey

Professional and Career Development Committee

Provide alumni members with resources and information on career development strategies through organized workshops, groups, and seminars. Collaborate with MCNY Career Services Dept. in their efforts to promote professional growth and development.

Community Affairs Committee

Establish an HSEAN community presence to advocate and coordinate activities and events and assist in the growth of our communities and individuals.  To develop and maintain linkages with community-based organizations, high schools, businesses, civic agencies, and other outside stakeholders for collaboration in implementing community-based projects and initiatives.

The HSE Alumni Network is committed to encouraging and guiding partnerships between students, alumni and MCNY.

We strive to increase awareness of the alumni network while empowering students to be a force of positive change at MCNY and in the community.
