NEW YORK, NY – May 7, 2012 – Metropolitan College of New York(MCNY) announced the appointment of Mr. Terence Peavy as Executive Vice President for Enrollment Management.   “Metropolitan College is pleased to have a consummate professional like Mr. Peavy join our team,” said Dr. Vinton Thompson, President.  “We look forward to working with him.   His deep and extensive experience will help the college continue to innovate and grow.”

At MCNY, Peavy will oversee Admissions, Marketing, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Student and Career Services. A seasoned professional with years of experience in higher education enrollment, Mr. Peavy was formerly Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing at Saint Peter’s College in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he served since 2009.   From 2004 to 2009, he was at The New School in Manhattan, first as Director of Admission of Eugene Lang College and then as Assistant Vice President for Admission for the entire institution.  Preceding his work at The New School, he climbed the admissions ranks at Fordham University, where he served as Admission Counselor, Assistant Director of Admission, Senior Assistant Director of Admission and Associate Director of Admission.

Terence Peavy has an MS in Education Administration and Supervision from Fordham (1999) and a BA in Speech Communications from York College of Pennsylvania (1992).  He resides with his family in Jersey City.
