About Mahbubul Joarder, PhD
Dr. Joarder has been an integral part of the college’s School of Business for the past twelve years, serving in various capacities. His deep commitment to our institution and extensive experience in both academic and administrative roles make him an ideal fit for this position.

In terms of educational background, Dr. Joarder is highly qualified, holding a Ph.D., a Master of Laws from NYU, USA, and the University of London, UK, along with a Postgraduate Diploma and a Master’s Diploma in Business Administration. His academic journey is a testament to his dedication and expertise in his field.

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Joarder has a rich history as an academic administrator. He notably served as the dean of the School of Law and as the chancellor’s nominee to the Governing Body at the Islamic University, Bangladesh, the largest government university in the southwestern part of the country. Dr. Joarder also served as the Interim Associate Dean of the School of Business at MCNY and as the Program Coordinator for the Project Management Program, in addition to being a full-time faculty member at MCNY. These roles have equipped him with invaluable leadership skills and a broad perspective on academic administration.

Additionally, Dr. Joarder’s consulting experience is nothing short of impressive. As a certified management consultant (CMC®) of the Institute of Management Consultants, USA, he has provided management and project management consulting services for over thirty years across various industry sectors. His notable contributions include consulting support to the government of Bangladesh, funded by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP/UNCTAD), for developing strategic positions for the forty-eight least developed countries of the world in the World Trade Organization (WTO).
