Official Statement from Dr. Jamal Bryant

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the cancellation of tonight’s MCNY Voter Education Town Hall, due to the recent passing of my beloved mother, Rev. Dr. Cecelia Williams Bryant. A prophet, preacher, intercessor, and global minister to women, she was a pillar of faith and love, a devoted wife, mother, and Nana to the nations. Her legacy spans generations, and while we grieve, we also honor her life from October 31, 1946, to September 26, 2024, as she transitioned to glory. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and are committed to rescheduling this important event for a later date. Your understanding and prayers are deeply appreciated as my family navigates this profound loss. Thank you for your continued support. Please keep my family in your prayers.
