Expanding Its Commitment to Business Education

New York, NY (February 27, 2025) — The Metropolitan College of New York (MCNY) School for Business has once again earned a reaffirmation of accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). This prestigious recognition emphasizes MCNY’s commitment to delivering high-quality, career-focused business education that empowers students to drive meaningful change in their industries and communities.

ACBSP accreditation, recognized globally for its emphasis on teaching excellence and continuous improvement, affirms that Metropolitan College of New York business programs meet rigorous academic standards. A Legacy of Purpose-Centered Business Education

MCNY’s School for Business was first accredited by ACBSP in 2013, and since then, it has continued to evolve, adapting to the dynamic demands of the business world while staying true to its founding mission of Purpose-Centered Education. Rooted in real-world application and social impact, MCNY’s business programs are designed to equip students with both the knowledge and the ethical leadership skills needed to succeed in today’s complex business landscape.

“This reaffirmation by ACBSP is a testament to Metropolitan College of New York’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation in business education,” said Dr. Charles J. Gibbs, President of MCNY. “The School for Business continues to provide students with a transformative, career-driven, Purpose Centered Education that fosters leadership, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility.
