New York, NY July 31, 2014 – Today, Metropolitan College of New York (MCNY) announced the appointment of Ms. Erica Morales as Director of the MCNY Bronx Extension Center (BEC).

Ms. Morales has held the position of Acting Director of the Bronx Extension since January 2014.  In her role as Director, she will report to the Executive Vice President for Enrollment Management and work collaboratively with MCNY faculty and administrators at both campuses to provide site-based operational leadership and supervision of administrative services consistent with the College’s strategic goals and objectives.

The MCNY Bronx Extension Center offers added convenience for students who live or work in the Bronx, adjacent parts of Manhattan and Westchester County. The school offers Associate, Bachelor and Master degree programs including an Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Professional Studies in Human Services, Associate of Science, Bachelor of Business Administration in Business or Healthcare Systems Management, Master of Public Administration and a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling Program (CASAC).

Ms. Morales joined MCNY in 2010 as the Coordinator of Student Support and Development. She was promoted to Assistant Director in 2011.  Prior to joining MCNY, she was the Graduate Assistant for the Center of Multicultural Education and Programs at New York University.  She has a Master of Arts, Higher Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts and Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts.
