Dear Members of the MCNY Community,
It is with great excitement that I share the appointment of Vincent (Vince) Tunstall as MCNY’s Chief of Staff and Vice President for Strategic Initiatives. In this pivotal role, Vincent will serve as an invaluable member of the senior administration, streamlining procedures and fostering collaboration between the president’s office and the broader leadership team.
Vince brings a remarkable depth of experience and enthusiasm to MCNY. His 31 years in higher education leadership and his commitment to institutional excellence make him uniquely suited to help advance our mission and goals. He will work closely with critical departments, including Admissions, Financial Aid, the Bursar’s Office, and Finance, to support and enhance their efforts.
Before joining MCNY, Vince served as Chief of Staff and Associate Vice President for Finance at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. In this role, he successfully collaborated with teams across financial aid, the bursar’s office, and admissions while leading institutional planning and assessment. His expertise will be instrumental as we continue implementing MCNY’s ambitious strategic plan.
Prior to Chestnut Hill College, Vince served as Director of Student Financial Services and Assistant Vice President for Finance at the College of New Rochelle, where he distinguished himself as a dedicated advocate for education funding. This advocacy, which threads through his impressive career, reflects his deep commitment to ensuring access and opportunity for all students.
I am thrilled to welcome Vincent Tunstall to MCNY during this dynamic period of growth and innovation. His strategic vision, leadership, and collaborative spirit will be vital as we work to strengthen our institution and provide the best possible environment for learning and working.
Please join me in welcoming Vincent Tunstall to the MCNY community. Together, we will continue to move #MCNYForward and build on the foundation of excellence that defines our college.
Warmest regards,
Dr. Charles J. Gibbs
